Tyrens welcomes former Arcadis boss as MD

After spending two decades with consultants Arcadis, Nilesh Parmar has been appointed as UK managing director at AKT II and Hilson Moran’s parent group Tyréns.

Parmar began his career with Interserve before moving across to Arcadis, where he acted as deputy chief executive for the UK and Ireland.

The former Arcadis executive started his new role a month after AKT II and Hilson Moran adopted the Tyréns prefix.

Parmar stated: “In Tyréns AKT and Tyréns Hilson Moran, we have two of the most respected names in the UK built environment.”

Tyréns acquired AKT II back in 2011, and bought Hilson Moran nine years ago.

Tyréns is a Swedish powerhouse with a reported turnover of around £250m, with 3,000 employees active across northern Europe in Sweden, Lithuania, Poland, Estonia, Canada, Denmark and the UK.
